The latest technology at the new IE library

In September 2014, the IE library moved to a new, modern building located at María de Molina 31-bis. In addition to all the standard resources, the new facilities are also home to research and projects involving cutting-edge technology, including voice and gesture recognition (Leap Motion), augmented reality (Layar), geolocation, the Internet of things, wearable devices (Google Glass and the Myo Thalmic armband), and the expansion of sensory perception (Google goggles). There are also a number of new features available in the databases for members of the Alumni Association, such FACTIVA, that now includes the ability to search based on trending topics.
