IE presents 6 million euro scholarship fund for women

IE presents #IEWomen, a special fund with an endowment of 6 million euros for scholarships aimed at women. The key objective of #IEWomen is to enable the world’s best female talent to undertake IE programs, giving priority to women in the fields of technology, entrepreneurship and leadership, or women in Africa.

“It is important to know what women want in terms of management education, career, and future success,” says Celia de Anca, Director of IE Foundation’s Center for Diversity, which is running the initiative.

In addition to providing additional financial support for students, the #IEWomen scholarships will also be extending the Mentors Program to facilitate mentoring relations among students, alumni and the international business community.

“More women in the classroom means more women in future top positions and more women entrepreneurs, investors and decision-makers in the global sphere,” says Celia de Anca.
