IE Global Alumni Weekend 2018

More than 1,000 IE graduates from 50 countries attended the IE Global Alumni Weekend 2018 where they had the opportunity to return to their alma mater. They attended master classes in the same classrooms where they studied, reunited with their classmates and continued to strengthen their network. You can have a look at all the photos here.

In the master classes, attendees had the opportunity to discuss a variety of subjects such as the main challenges that companies face today, the impact of the international socio-economic situation, the challenges of technology, and even leadership and social innovation in a world in disruption.

The 3rd edition of the EPIC Awards (Extraordinary People Inspiring the IE Community) ceremony also took place at the IE Global Alumni Weekend. The aim of the awards is to inspire the IE community through the success stories of IE graduates around the world. Congratulations to all the winners! You can read their amazing stories here.

Josep Borell’s visit

Venture Day Chicago

Law School´s Global League and Ontier, have recently launched the Global Legaltech Venture Days, in collaboration with IE and South Summit. These are startup competitions that focus on legal technologies with a positive impact on major challenges faced by legal operators or legal systems, with the aim to improve their operations and promote the cause of justice.

On June 15, Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law in Chicago hosted the first Legaltech Venture Day in Chicago. Esquify, the winning startup, is focusing on putting humans, not technology, at the center of its e-discovery management engine.
