In its continual pursuit of academic excellence and the most innovative educational programs, IE Business School, in conjunction with the Financial Times Group, has launched the FT | IE Corporate Learning Alliance (FT|IE CLA). This joint venture seeks to develop in-company and customized educational programs for companies. In yet another step in the IE internationalization strategy, its headquarters will be in a new campus in London, one of the world’s most important educational hubs.
In addition, this new project makes use of the IE experience and leadership in blended learning programs, where it is among the leaders in international rankings. This blended training for companies combines high-quality online courses with face-to-face classes.
Also notable is the creation of a faculty to meet the demands of the firms for in-company training. It will be composed of IE professors, associate professors, consultants who specialize in developing management, and leading FT opinion makers. Content in different formats will be based on the successful IE multimedia materials, and on the publishing resources provided by the FT and the other companies that make up the Pearson Group (Prentice Hall and Random House, among others).
The Financial Times is one of the international leaders in economic information. Since its beginnings, it has developed alliances with leading business schools in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America to design and provide tailor-made programs for training management.
